About Gleamcore
Gleamcore.top is an independent English-language publication dedicated to the practice and philosophy of mindfulness. We explore how sustained, ethical awareness can reshape daily life, relationships, and our long-term impact on the world around us.
Who this site is for
Our readers include experienced meditators, curious beginners, educators, mental health practitioners, and anyone who suspects that mindfulness is more than a productivity tool. You will find practical guidance here, but we also ask harder questions: How does mindfulness intersect with social and ecological responsibility? What does it mean to pay attention in an age of distraction without turning attention into another commodity?
Topics we cover
- Foundations of mindfulness: breath awareness, body scans, sitting practice, and walking meditation — explained without jargon.
- Mindfulness in daily life: communication, work, parenting, and navigating difficult emotions with clarity and care.
- Ethics and sustainability: how mindful consumption, non-harming, and interdependence relate to personal well-being and planetary health.
- Long-term practice: avoiding burnout in spiritual routines, integrating insight over decades, and keeping practice alive beyond initial motivation.
- Science and tradition: we draw from both contemporary research (neuroscience, psychology) and classical sources (early Buddhist texts, secular mindfulness lineages) with respect for their contexts.
Editorial standards
Gleamcore operates as a publication, not a consulting firm or e-commerce store. We do not sell courses, certifications, or coaching. Every article is written or reviewed by people who have maintained a personal mindfulness practice for at least ten years, but we do not publish biographical résumés or invented credentials. Our commitment is to the content, not to personalities.
- Verify facts: claims about research, historical figures, or scientific findings are checked against primary sources or peer-reviewed studies. When we cite a study, we link to it or name the journal.
- Update when practices change: mindfulness research and teaching evolve. If new evidence or ethical considerations emerge — for example, regarding cultural appropriation, trauma-sensitive approaches, or climate psychology — we revise older articles and note the update.
- No self-promotion: we do not use the blog to promote products, apps, or paid programs. Recommendations are limited to freely available resources (books from libraries, open-access articles, community groups).
- Transparency: any affiliate link (rare) will be clearly marked. Currently we use none. We do not accept sponsored posts.
Why “Gleamcore”?
The name reflects the idea that mindfulness, at its core, is not about polishing a surface but about letting a steady, clear light reveal what is already there — including discomfort, impermanence, and the quiet beauty of ordinary moments. We aim for writing that is warm, precise, and free of hype.
